The East Texas Food Bank, established in 1988, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting hunger and feeding hope in East Texas. With a mission to provide food assistance, they have partnered with over 200 agencies to serve children, the working poor, and seniors in 26 counties across the region. Their comprehensive programs include the BackPack Program, Kids Cafe© & Afterschool Snack Program, Summer Food Program, Senior Box Program (CSFP), and Nutrition Education.
