El Sereno Community Land Trust is a brand dedicated to preserving affordable housing and land in the El Sereno neighborhood of Los Angeles. Committed to combating displacement and gentrification, the trust acquires and manages properties such as distressed homes and apartments to prevent the community from being uprooted. Founded in 2017, the trust emerged as a response to the growing housing crisis and homelessness in Northeast LA.

With a mission to de-commodify local real estate, they secure properties that will be held in perpetuity for the common good, ensuring that they remain affordable for future generations. The trust also works with residents and tenants who wish to stay in their homes to preserve the cultural fabric of the community. By respectfully engaging and involving the original native people, the Tongva people, the trust aims to take leadership in stewarding the land.
