Escoteiros de Portugal is a non-profit educational association for young people. They are the founders of Portuguese Scouting and the oldest youth organization in Portugal. As a member of the global Scouting movement, Escoteiros de Portugal promotes scouting open to all, independent, interfaith, and multiethnic.

They have over 13,000 young members in approximately 150 local units throughout Portugal. With a rich history, over 300,000 individuals have been Scouts in Portugal. Escoteiros de Portugal is also a founding member of the Portuguese Scouting Federation, which is internationally recognized.

The association is dedicated to activities and non-formal education methods that include nature, environmental education, social intervention, development cooperation, promoting social volunteering, peace education, culture, sports, health education, and adult training.
