Eurocare's governance structure is built upon a prestigious Board of alcohol policy experts, elected by the General Assembly for a term of three years. This Board, with its extensive experience in alcohol policy and research at national, European, and global levels, ensures strong and effective democratic governance. Additionally, Eurocare's expert committee plays a crucial role in providing independent scientific evidence on alcoholic beverage labelling and health warnings.

This helps inform policymakers across Europe and contributes to the negotiation of the Codex labelling standard. With over 50 members in 21 countries, Eurocare benefits from a diverse range of expertise in combating alcohol harm. These members are engaged in research, advocacy, and providing essential services such as counseling and residential support.

The dedicated executive team, led by renowned health policy advocate Florence Berteletti, is responsible for implementing Eurocare's program under the guidance of the Board. The team comprises individuals with expertise in law, communications, advocacy, finance, and administration.
