Excelsior Charter Schools is a brand that offers students in grades 7-12 a fully accredited, blended learning program and a supported independent study program. The blended program includes on-campus classes, virtual classes, and independent study, providing students with autonomy, guidance, and support for their success. Excelsior's full-time supported independent study program combines virtual classes and independent study to support students and families who prefer to work from home.

At Excelsior, education is student-focused. Each student is assigned a facilitator who works with them and their parent/guardian to develop a Personal Life Plan (PLP) that engages students in planning for their future beyond high school. Excelsior also focuses on equipping students with both academic skills and success skills such as initiative, responsibility, communication, social etiquette, and teamwork.
