Exploits Community Employment Corporation is a non-profit agency that offers Supported Employment Services to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. Since 1986, we have been partnering with the Provincial Government and the Corporate/Employer community to provide meaningful work opportunities for our clients. Our dedicated team, composed of Professionals, Business Persons, parents, and individuals with disabilities, operates under an elected Board of Directors.

Our mission is to help individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities gain access to employment opportunities that offer equitable pay, long-term security, and integrated settings. Here's how it works: after assessing the individual's interests and abilities, our staff initiate the job search and matching process. We approach potential employers on behalf of the individual and explain the program to them.

If accepted, the individual becomes an employee, with ongoing support from us, including job coach assistance if needed. Our goal is for individuals to eventually perform their duties independently, fostering independence and personal choice.
