The New Brunswick Extra-Mural Program (EMP), known as the 'hospital without walls', is dedicated to delivering exceptional home health services to individuals of all ages in New Brunswick. Our goal is to ensure that New Brunswickers can receive quality care in the comfort of their own homes and communities. Managed by Medavie Health Services New Brunswick, alongside Ambulance New Brunswick and Telecare 811, our program consists of a network of over 900 skilled professionals who are committed to providing comprehensive and coordinated care.

By offering a wide range of services, from health education to specialized medical support, we cater to various needs, including post-surgery recovery, stroke rehabilitation, medication management, dementia/Alzheimer's disease assistance, and end-of-life care. Our mission is to empower individuals and their families to take charge of their health, resulting in shorter hospital visits or even avoiding them altogether.
