Facepunch is an independent game development studio based in Birmingham, UK. With a player-first approach, we have created some of the most popular games on Steam, including Garry's Mod and Rust. Garry's Mod, released in 2004, was one of the first indie games on Steam and paved the way for the establishment of Facepunch.

Rust is a survival game where the only aim is to stay alive, facing challenges from wildlife, other survivors, and the environment. Garry's Mod, built on the Source engine, is a physics sandbox game that offers endless creative possibilities. At Facepunch, we believe in an open and collaborative work environment where the team collectively decides what's best for the game.

We embrace failure as an opportunity to learn and improve. With a growing team of about 50 talented individuals, we are dedicated to building long-term relationships with both our games and our community. While focused on PC gaming, we are also exploring other platforms and virtual reality.
