Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE) is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization that was founded in 1977. Our mission is to support individuals of all abilities in realizing their full potential and thriving in their communities.

FREE proudly benefits and supports over 4,000 individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, mental illness, and traumatic brain injury. At FREE, we provide a diverse range of supports and services to cater to the unique needs of our clients. Our offerings include housing, recovery services, transition to work programs, employment services, day programs, community and family support services, respite services, crisis intervention, education and after-school support, specialty health services, and advocacy.
