Family Service Rochester is a non-profit organization established in 1965 with the goal of supporting and improving the lives of individuals and families in our community. With over 30 programs spanning across 12 counties, their dedicated team of 150 staff members and 600+ volunteers provides a wide range of services in the areas of mental health, child wellbeing, family stability, and senior independence. They offer services such as mental health outpatient counseling, family and community-based counseling, school-based counseling, children's therapeutic services and support, and trauma-focused therapy, among others.

Family Service Rochester also operates various programs for child welfare, domestic violence education and support, senior independence, caregiver support and respite services, and more. Their commitment to partnership is evident through their six principles, which emphasize respect, listening, recognizing strengths, withholding judgment, sharing power, and acknowledging that partnership is a continuous process.
