Fatshark is a renowned independent game developer hailing from the artistic city of Stockholm, Sweden. With an impressive portfolio, they have evolved from being subcontractors on notable AAA games to becoming a self-publishing studio. Their latest triumph, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, has garnered critical acclaim worldwide. Led by founders Martin Wahlund, Rikard Blomberg, Joakim Wahlström, and Johan Jonker, Fatshark began its journey in 2007 as hired guns before publishing their first game, Lead and Gold, in 2010 with the assistance of Paradox Interactive. The success of this endeavor enabled them to release their very first self-published AAA game, Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, which was propelled by the sale of co-founded Bitsquid to Autodesk in 2014. Today, the talented team of over 180 experienced individuals is headquartered at Södermalm in central Stockholm.
