Females in Food is a members-only community and talent marketplace dedicated to empowering women in the Food and Beverage Industry. Our mission is to help women become influential leaders, strategists, and self-advocates, ready to lead their organizations into the future. Through our initiatives, we empower careers, provide visibility, and help companies attract, develop, and retain more female talent.

Established in 2019, Females in Food aims to close the gender gap in the industry by improving four key metrics: attracting more qualified female talent, advancing women from middle management to executive leadership, delivering critical training to improve culture and employee engagement, and supporting leaders and organizations through sponsorship programs and the FIF Global Leadership Program. We foster deep connections among like-minded professionals, creating a cascading impact on the entire food sector. Additionally, we elevate corporate brands by showcasing thought leaders, promoting job opportunities, and hosting industry impact events.

Our community provides ongoing support and professional development resources for female leaders, including custom curated, collaborative events. Founded by industry executives Angela Dodd and Alyssa Simek, Females in Food brings decades of food industry experience to the community.
