FOHRA Volunteer is a highly dedicated and passionate individual who supports the Friends of Highland Recreation Area (FOHRA), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Highland, Michigan. Comprised of Michigan residents, business owners, and organizations, FOHRA's mission is to support Highland State Recreation Area and rejuvenate the historic former Haven Hill Estate of Edsel and Eleanor Ford, making it accessible for all to enjoy. FOHRA volunteers engage in a variety of activities and events, including the Haven Hill Festival, Redbud Reveal, historic renovations, and volunteering activities.

They also contribute to the conservation and renovation work of the Haven Hill National Natural Landmark. At FOHRA, the love for art and the outdoors is celebrated, offering opportunities for photography, hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, boating, model airplanes, horseback riding, and all forms of outdoor recreation. Through their dedicated efforts, FOHRA volunteers work hand in hand with the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to promote and enhance the Highland Recreation Area
