Description
FOOD For Lane County (FFLC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit food bank established in 1984. We are dedicated to reducing hunger in Lane County, Oregon by engaging our community to create access to food. Our mission is to ensure that no one in our community goes hungry.
Through our various programs and partnerships, we provide food assistance to individuals and families of all income brackets who may experience food insecurity. Our network of 170 social service agencies and programs, along with emergency food boxes, shelters, meal sites, rehabilitation facilities, and community gardens, help us reach a diverse population including children, families, seniors, and single adults. We strive to not only provide immediate hunger relief but also to promote self-sufficiency.
We offer nutrition education, gleaning initiatives, and community advocacy to create sustainable solutions. Our commitment to reducing hunger goes beyond a simple food bank; we are actively engaged in building a healthier and more food-secure community. Join us in the fight against hunger.
Volunteer, donate funds, donate food, or learn more about our programs and initiatives. Together, we can make a difference and ensure that everyone in Lane County has access to wholesome, nutritious food
