The Forage Center for Peacebuilding and Humanitarian Education is dedicated to empowering emerging humanitarians through educational opportunities and experiential-based training. As a 501c3 organization, the Forage Center develops and conducts live scenario training programs designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of individuals working in conflict, disasters, and other complex emergencies.

They also provide educational programs on peacebuilding and humanitarian issues for colleges, universities, professional groups, and the general public. Additionally, the Forage Center consults with various organizations, academia, and governments, sharing best practices for working in complex emergencies. They believe in creating safe environments where all individuals can live as their authentic selves with their basic human needs met. The Forage Center acknowledges and honors the Indigenous people who once inhabited the land of their training facility in Western Maryland, expressing gratitude by donating 10% of their annual field exercise net revenue to the Native American Rights Fund. With notable programs like Field Simulation, Forage Center Conversations, and the National Community College Peacebuilding Seminar, they have a wide reach and have impacted individuals from 11 countries and 22 colleges.
