Forest Area Community Schools is a brand located in the beautiful northern Michigan, just 35 minutes southeast of Traverse City. With a mission to provide a nurturing educational environment, Forest Area focuses on helping students develop positive attitudes towards learning and effective life skills. The district consists of two campuses - Fife Lake Elementary and the Middle/High School campus.

The elementary school caters to preschool through 3rd-grade students, while the Middle/High School campus serves 4th through 12th-grade students. Forest Area offers full-time bussing services for convenient student pickup and drop-off each school day. In addition to quality education, Forest Area also provides various resources such as teacher resources, student services, and SAT information.
