Formula Electric Belgium is a brand that brings together a group of motivated engineering students from different campuses of KU Leuven University and Thomas More University College in Belgium. The brand offers a working environment for these students to apply their technical and soft skills. Along with enhancing their education and skills, Formula Electric Belgium's practical goal is to design, build, and drive an electric Formula Student race car.

The brand is supported by several partners who help in the building process. After a year of development and manufacturing, the team participates in various international events of the Formula Student competition. Formula Electric Belgium is more than just a race car team.

It emphasizes teamwork and provides students with an opportunity to develop their social skills in a realistic work environment. The brand also participates in the driverless Formula Student competition, where engineering students can experiment and design their own code to make a self-propelling vehicle. This competition is organized by SAE International and challenges university teams to design and build their own car within nine months.

The performance of the car and the qualities of the team are evaluated during static and dynamic events. Formula Electric Belgium only participates in the electric class of the competition.
