Frances Kazan is a multi-talented English-born writer, lecturer, and producer. Her most recent novel, "The Dervish," published by Opus Press, New York, is an exhilarating adventure set in 1919 Istanbul and Ankara, during the emergence of Ataturk and the birth of Modern Turkey. Her previous works include "Halide’s Gift," a captivating fusion of history and fiction centered around the early life of Turkish nationalist and writer Halide Edib Adivar, and "Goodnight Little Sister," a captivating tale set in England and America during the late 60’s.

Additionally, Mrs. Kazan has authored "Halide Edib ve Amerika," an academic study of Halide Edib Adivar. She is a supporter of various arts organizations and has presented her lectures on late Ottoman Istanbul and Halide Edib in New York, London, and Ottawa.
