Franciscan Volunteer Ministry is a community of dedicated men and women who work in collaboration with the Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province. Their mission is rooted in the Gospel message of expressing love through action. They provide a nurturing environment that promotes service to the marginalized, personal and interpersonal development, spiritual growth, and an active prayer life.

The Franciscan Volunteer Ministers live as witnesses to Gospel values and Franciscan ideals, committed to a simple lifestyle that promotes solidarity with the poor and builds a Christian community. With the guidance of the Holy Spirit, this experience helps them grow in faith, become witnesses to the world, and enrich their faith communities. The ministry is affiliated with the Franciscan Friars of Holy Name Province and is a proud member program of both the Catholic Volunteer Network and the Franciscan Service Network.
