The Joshua M. Freeman Foundation is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2007 to honor the late Josh Freeman, former Chair of the Carl M. Freeman Companies.
The foundation is dedicated to upholding Josh's legacy of excellence and passion. One of their main programs is the Freeman Arts Pavilion, previously known as The Freeman Stage, located near Fenwick Island. This outdoor performance venue hosts over 70 performances annually, providing an extensive array of arts experiences.
Additionally, the foundation's Arts Access Initiative offers K-12 students and underserved families of Delmarva year-round, high-quality, diverse arts experiences at no cost. The foundation's mission is to create opportunities that uplift the human spirit, impacting more than 120,000 residents, children, and visitors each year. The Joshua M.
