GameSoundCon, hosted by SoundCon, LLC, is a leading conference that focuses on game music, sound design, and virtual reality audio. The conference offers a wide range of sessions and workshops where participants can learn how to compose music for games and gain insights on how to pursue a career in game music and sound design. GameSoundCon caters to individuals of all levels, from casual to AAA game developers, composers, sound designers, dialogue specialists, researchers, educators, and more.

The conference covers various topics such as video game music composition, game sound design, technology, business and career development, virtual/mixed reality audio, interactive audio, and research in ludomusicology. GameSoundCon 2023 is a hybrid event that allows attendees to either join in person at the Burbank Convention Center in Burbank, CA or participate online. Both in-person and online attendees have the opportunity to access real-time sessions, engage in live text chat, and watch missed sessions for up to 3 months after the conference.
