About

Description

Georgia First Generation Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing resources for high school students who need support to pursue a college education. Specifically designed for first-generation students who are passionate about academic success, Georgia First Gen offers strategic plans for any college degree. Founded by Charbel and Francisco, who themselves were the first in their families to graduate high school and attend college, this organization understands the barriers that these students face and aims to provide them with the necessary tools to overcome them.

What began as a student organization has now transformed into a full-fledged non-profit, with a board of directors and a team of dedicated volunteers. Georgia First Gen offers various programs, including immersion programs, scholarships, and a blog and podcast to inspire and guide first-generation students in their educational journey. Join the movement and be a part of a community that supports and uplifts first-generation students
