GeSCI, or the Global e-Schools and Communities Initiative, is an international non-profit organization that aims to bring about transformation in the education, science & technology, innovation, and vocational training sectors through the innovative use of ICTs. Established in 2003, GeSCI was founded based on the recommendation of the United Nations Task Force on Information Communication Technology. The organization's vision is to be a global thought leader and expert organization in supporting the utilization of new technologies to transform learning and empower individuals and communities for inclusive and sustainable development.

GeSCI works with government ministries and their related agencies, providing technical and strategic advice to develop and implement models of good ICT-based practice for high-quality education and training. The organization is known for its responsive, reliable, and expert technical assistance, as well as its cutting-edge policy-driven leadership programs.
