Girl Up Uganda is a brand that is committed to creating a gender-equal world where girls can thrive and lead. They believe in the power of storytelling to drive social change and influence positive behaviors and mindsets. Through their programs and projects, they aim to empower and uplift girls and young women by providing transformative leadership opportunities, sexual and reproductive health education, and skills development.

Their strategic domains include gender-responsive sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) education, skilling and employability for girls and young women, and quality, gender-transformative education for adolescent girls and boys. They strive to increase the number of girls and young women who have autonomy over their bodies, access quality SRHR information and services, and are economically self-reliant. Girl Up Uganda also runs a flagship social enterprise called Mazuri Designs Hub, which helps marginalized and vulnerable girls and young women recover from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic by providing them with skills and opportunities for improved livelihoods.
