Global Diversity Exchange (GDX) is a think-and-do tank based at the Ted Rogers School of Management at Ryerson University, funded by Maytree. GDX focuses on the diversity that arises due to global migration, with over 214 million people moving worldwide for various purposes. The team, led by Executive Director Ratna Omidvar, identifies and highlights the connections between diversity, migration, and prosperity, anchoring them in policy, research, and practice.

GDX provides thought leadership and analysis to help nations, governments, communities, employers, and institutions become confident in and competent at integrating immigrants. They contribute to the international policy agenda, enhance their work through academic and applied research, and build partnerships. GDX uncovers and disseminates effective practices through evidence-based and practical approaches.

GDX prioritizes significant levers for research and action, including employment and entrepreneurship, diversity in governance, migration and cities, refugees, and thought leadership. They showcase promising practices and innovation, transform refugee issues into human stories, and profile notable global thinkers through their annual lecture series.
