The Good Samaritan Center is a private, non-profit social service agency that has been dedicated to aiding families and individuals in emergency crisis situations for over 40 years in the Greater Jackson Mississippi Area. Our main office is located in Jackson with a branch in Laurel, Mississippi. We work closely with other organizations to create a network of helping hands and ensure that if we can't assist you directly, we will connect you with someone who can.

Our services include food and clothing assistance, a soup kitchen, case management, and travelers aid. We are funded through a variety of sources such as private contributions, charitable gaming, resale stores, charity races, and in-house fundraising. By partnering with these community organizations and maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of available emergency services and funds, we are able to provide vital support to those in need.
