Grass Grazed Farm, located in Northern Durham, is a 60-acre farmstead run by Derrick and Paige Jackson. Committed to sustainable agriculture, we raise pastured livestock on our farm and additional leased acreage nearby. As stewards of the land, we are passionate about offering our customers healthy, wholesome, and delicious meat options.

Our pasture-raised pigs enjoy the freedom to roam and root in large paddocks, with shelter provided in inclement weather. Our sows farrow on pasture, allowing piglets to benefit from the soil's nutrients and build their immunity naturally. Similarly, our grassfed cattle graze on fresh grass throughout their lives, meeting or exceeding the standards set by the American Grassfed Association.

This results in beef with improved flavor, beneficial Omega 3 fatty acids, and no added hormones or antibiotics. We also provide pasture-raised eggs, prioritizing our hens' well-being with a natural and humane environment that allows them to thrive. These eggs are not only better for our hens, but also packed with essential nutrients.

We take measures to protect the river system, our animals, and the quality of our meat, such as avoiding herbicides and repurposing materials.
