Our mission is to focus on what makes great service instead of what doesn't. Grata was born out of a personal experience that our founder, Mark Bunting, had in a neighborhood hardware store.

He was deeply moved by the exceptional service provided by an employee and wanted to show gratitude beyond a simple thank you. However, he realized that it was difficult to connect with the right person at the company and there wasn't a process in place to capture and share customer feedback. This inspired the creation of Grata, a gratitude and recognition platform that brings people and purpose together.
