Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers Limited (GRSE) is a Government of India undertaking under the Ministry of Defence. An ISO 9001:2015 certified company, GRSE has a rich historical background of excellence in warship construction and engineering. They specialize in shipbuilding, engineering, engine infrastructure, and shipbuilding & repair.

The shipyard is equipped with a state-of-the-art Virtual Reality Lab and the latest design software to create innovative ship designs for the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard. GRSE is currently executing three warship building projects for the Indian Navy and one for the Indian Coast Guard, with recent export orders including six Patrol Boats for the Government of Bangladesh and an Ocean Going Passenger cum Cargo Ferry Vessel for the Republic of Guyana. The company has made commendable progress in incorporating a high percentage of indigenous equipment fit into the ships, achieving over 90% indigenous content onboard Anti-Submarine Warfare Corvettes and Landing Craft Utility Ships.
