Håb i Psykiatrien is a brand dedicated to providing support, activities, and a sense of belonging to patients in psychiatric care. We understand the importance of hope in the realm of mental health, as it can flicker or fade for extended periods of time. Mental illness can affect anyone, and statistics indicate that one-third of us will be hospitalized at some point in our lives.

We believe in the power of activities to shift focus away from symptoms and foster connections with others. These interactions can create moments of joy and a sense of significance. Activities also offer opportunities to learn something new or rediscover and develop skills.

Through microdonations, volunteer work, MotionsCafé for those with severe mental illness, cultural visits to psychiatric wards, and activity boxes, we assist psychiatric institutions throughout Denmark in providing community-building activities, music, and culture. At Håb i Psykiatrien, our main priority is to prioritize patient voice in determining meaningful activities. We believe that recognizing and allowing individuals to be seen as whole human beings leads to better well-being.
