Since 1986, we have been dedicated to working in partnership with God's people in need to build simple, decent, and affordable homes in Chattanooga, TN. Our mission is to put God's love into action by bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

We envision a world where everyone has a decent place to live. At HabitatCHA, we focus on shelter, advocate for affordable housing, promote dignity and hope, and support sustainable and transformative development. We are proud to partner with corporations, churches, civic groups, and individuals in the Chattanooga community to help them build or improve their own homes.

Habitat homeowners actively participate in building their own homes alongside volunteers and repay an affordable, 0% interest mortgage. By supporting HabitatCHA, you help empower homeowners to attain strength, stability, and independence, enabling them to build a better life for themselves and their families. Please note that Habitat for Humanity and its affiliate organizations have a non-proselytizing policy and do not work with entities or individuals who insist on proselytizing.
