Habitat for Humanity of Flathead Valley in Kalispell, MT has been making a difference in the community since 1989. As one of the largest Habitat affiliates in Montana, they have built an impressive 67 homes, providing strength, stability, and self-reliance to 74 families, 105 adults, and 156 children. Initially constructing just one home per year, Habitat has overcome limited resources and challenges to now build 2-4 homes annually.

They have expanded their reach beyond Kalispell to Whitefish, Columbia Falls, Lakeside, and Somers, thanks to donated land and funding. Habitat's success is driven by a dedicated group of community donors and volunteers, replacing construction company assistance from the early days. Additionally, Habitat opened the Flathead ReStore in 2001, which not only helps support the cost of building homes but also promotes conscious consumerism by offering quality goods at discounted prices.
