Haliburton County Development Corporation (HCDC) is a Community Futures Development Corporation that has been contributing to community economic development, job creation, and business growth in Haliburton County since 1985. As an independent, not-for-profit organization, HCDC works in collaboration with FedDev Ontario to provide a range of services to businesses, individuals, community groups, and local municipalities. HCDC offers professional counselling for businesses and not-for-profits, along with loans of up to $300,000.

They also facilitate special funding programs that aid in business expansion, the development of new products and services, hiring, research, and more. Additionally, HCDC provides vital support for community economic development initiatives and community planning. Managed by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors and Staff, HCDC is one of 61 Community Futures Development Corporations in rural Ontario and 268 CFDCs nationwide.

They serve the County of Haliburton, which includes four municipalities: the Township of Algonquin Highlands, the Municipality of Dysart et al, the Municipality of Highlands East, and the Township of Minden Hills.
