Lighthouse, a Metro Detroit-based homeless services agency, operates the HandUp platform. Since 1984, Lighthouse has been working tirelessly to end homelessness for individuals and families in crisis. By implementing housing first programming, providing emergency shelters, rental assistance programs, and supportive and affordable housing, Lighthouse has successfully empowered those it serves in addressing financial barriers to housing and long-term stability.
