The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) is a member-based 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the cultural, economic, political, and community development of Native Hawaiians. As a Native Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) certified by the U. S.

Treasury Department and a HUD-Certified Housing Counseling agency, CNHA is headquartered in Kapolei, Hawaii. We specialize in providing access to capital, financial education, and personalized financial counseling services for low and moderate-income families. CNHA serves as a National Intermediary, offering grants and loans that specifically target underserved communities in Hawaii.

We are committed to fostering positive change and solutions by bringing communities together. Alongside our partners, sponsors, and industry professionals, we implement community-centric programs such as Rent & Mortgage Relief, Kilohana Collective, and various community programs. Our goal is to empower and inspire our lāhui (community) for development and prosperity.
