Heartland Girls' Ranch is a brand that aims to provide girls aged 12-21 with a supportive and structured environment to help them make responsible choices and become mature young women. The Main Program, which has 24 beds, focuses on girls' success and aims to create an awareness of self-worth. The Ranch offers holistic, strength-based, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive programming based on best practices in working with girls.

Each resident is assigned a case manager and primary counselor who work closely with them, as well as with county workers, family/foster family, and others involved. The girls work with their case manager and primary staff to develop individual case plans and goals. The program includes educational groups, restorative justice work, daily goal work, counseling sessions, community involvement, recreation, leisure, and exercise, family meetings/therapy, home visits, and employment skills training.

Discharge planning and aftercare support are also provided to ensure a smooth transition for the girls
