Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) is a renowned nonprofit organization founded in 1958 by Hugh O'Brian himself. With a mission to inspire a global community of youth and volunteers, HOBY offers a wide range of programs and services. One of their notable initiatives is the State Leadership Seminars, which began in 1958 and have since empowered over 500,000 students to create lasting positive change in their communities.

These seminars provide students with valuable leadership skills and help them develop a dedication to service, innovation, and leadership. HOBY's efforts expanded in 1968 with the introduction of the first-ever World Leadership Congress, bringing together youth leaders from around the world to foster international collaboration and understanding. In addition, HOBY established Community Leadership Workshops in 1986, providing further opportunities for leadership development.
