ICAIarts, also known as the Immigrant Council for Arts Innovation, is an Alberta-based arts council established in January 2019. Their primary goal is to connect newcomer artists and arts and culture workers to the existing arts community in Alberta. At ICAIarts, diversity of expression and culture is actively encouraged, creating a safe and welcoming environment where immigrant art workers can confidently share their work in a new environment.

ICAIarts has a clear mission: to connect, empower, and advocate for immigrant artists and arts and culture workers. They achieve this by providing specialized resources and support, tailored programs and networking opportunities, mentorship for artistic growth and professional development, and job and employment opportunities. As advocates for immigrant arts and culture workers, ICAIarts educates the arts community on creating safe spaces and opportunities for newcomer art workers, promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion.

ICAIarts also acknowledges the importance of the land they work and create on, recognizing the Treaty 6, 7, and 8 territories of Indigenous and Métis nations in Alberta. They publicly commit to advancing reconciliation and actively work towards ending systemic racism. With their inclusive approach and dedication to immigrant artists and arts workers, ICAIarts is transforming the arts community in Alberta and creating a vibrant, thriving environment for all
