Description
ICCF Community Homes, the oldest nonprofit affordable housing provider in Michigan, has been serving the Grand Rapids area since 1974. With a commitment to equitable opportunity, affordable homes, and thriving neighborhoods, ICCF engages over 2,000 households each year through their housing-related services. They manage more than 600 units of affordable rental housing and offer homeownership education and home purchase opportunities to hundreds of neighbors.
Their vision is to create vibrant communities in West Michigan, fostering connected neighbors, housing justice, and abundant opportunity. Recognizing the historical discriminatory housing practices faced by Blacks and other minorities, ICCF strives to break down barriers to stable housing. They tackle the challenges of low housing inventory, skyrocketing costs, inflation, and poverty which often leave hardworking families on the brink of homelessness.
ICCF's journey began in 1974 with a single donation of a home to a church. Today, their work has expanded, but their unwavering commitment to providing safe, affordable housing remains the same. Join ICCF in their mission to build thriving communities, one home at a time
