Inner City Youth Alive Inc. (ICYA) is a brand that aims to bring hope and a brighter future to youth and their families in the inner city of Winnipeg, MB, through the teachings of Christ. Located in one of the poorest and under-served areas in Winnipeg and Canada, ICYA provides a safe and nurturing environment for children and youth who often face poverty, abuse, and neglect.

Through their quality programs, ICYA engages local kids and fosters supportive relationships that play a vital role in their lives. These programs empower children and youth to grow into confident individuals who can better navigate the challenges they face on a daily basis. ICYA was founded in 1986 by Mark Friesen and Kent Dueck with a vision to make a difference in the lives of inner city youth by showing them the love of Christ.
