IHSNO PANTHERS: Your Passport to Success Welcome to the International High School of New Orleans (IHSNO), a public, college preparatory charter school located in the Central Business District. We are proud to offer all Louisiana residents the opportunity to experience our unique educational environment. At IHSNO, we believe in providing our students with a well-rounded education, which is why we offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

This prestigious program encourages students to think beyond their community's boundaries and develop the necessary skills to thrive in a global economy. By participating in the IBDP, students increase their chances of university acceptance, scholarships, and success in their post-secondary endeavors. Our curriculum includes an extensive range of subjects, including language and literature, language acquisition, individuals and societies, sciences, mathematics and computer sciences, and the arts.

We also offer foreign language courses in Arabic, Chinese-Mandarin, French, Spanish, and Vietnamese to foster intercultural appreciation and understanding. In addition to our rigorous academic offerings, students have the opportunity to enroll concurrently in programs such as the New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts (NOCCA) and Bard Early College. We also participate in foreign exchange programs, accepting students from around the world and hosting groups from Denmark.

Our Globetrotters Club allows students to travel internationally, immersing themselves in new cultures and languages. IHSNO is proud to be an accredited Type 2 Charter School, recognized by the Board of Elementary and Secondary Education and the Louisiana Department of Education. We are also a member of prestigious associations such as the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling.
