Independent Living Canada (ILC) is a national non-profit association founded in 1986 by the Independent Living Movement Membership. Formerly known as the Canadian Association of Independent Living Centres, ILC represents a network of Independent Living (IL) Member Centres at the national level. The core mission of ILC is to empower individuals to self-identify positive changes and promote the Independent Living Philosophy.

ILC performs various functions on behalf of Member Centres, including providing a collective voice on national issues, fostering partnerships, building the capacity of IL in Canada, and preserving the importance of IL on the national stage. Through IL Member Centres, ILC supports individuals with disabilities to live independently, develop skills, share expertise, and access information and peer support.
