IMTI, the Industrial Management & Training Institute, is a leading coeducational technical institute with a rich history dating back to 1985. Originally known as Electrical Educators, IMTI changed its name in 1998 and expanded its curriculum to offer full apprenticeship programs for electricians, plumbers, and HVAC mechanics. Approved by the State of Connecticut Commissioner of Higher Education in 1985, IMTI has been accredited by the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) since 2002.
