Independent Lifestyles, Inc. (ILICIL) is a 501(c)3 organization that was established in 1997 to empower individuals with disabilities to overcome the barriers they face in their communities. Whether it's finding suitable living arrangements, employment opportunities, means of transportation, or engaging in social and recreational activities, Independent Lifestyles aims to ensure that individuals with disabilities have the same freedom of choice as their non-disabled counterparts.

What started as a small office building in downtown St. Cloud has now transformed into a thriving organization with its own building, a dedicated team of over 45 staff, and more than 80 PCA's. Independent Lifestyles firmly believes that everyone should have the opportunity to make decisions that impact their lives, pursue their passions, and face limitations in the same manner as their non-disabled neighbors.

Independent living isn't just about residing on one's own; it encompasses finding meaningful employment and maintaining an active social life. Self-determination is at the core of independent living, granting individuals the right and the chance to chart their own path.
