Indianapolis EMS is a division of Health and Hospital Corporation, in partnership with Eskenazi Health, dedicated to providing essential and top-notch care to the residents and visitors of Marion County, Indiana. As the largest provider of pre-hospital medical care in the state, Indianapolis EMS responds to over 100,000 911 calls annually. The focus of Indianapolis EMS is to deliver exceptional pre-hospital medical services, prioritizing patient-centered care, education, efficiency, safety, and quality of service.

With a team of more than 300 EMT and paramedic providers and staff, Indianapolis EMS operates 31 ALS ambulances across a primary response area spanning 261 square miles. They transport patients to 26 hospitals, including four Level I Trauma Centers. Additionally, Indianapolis EMS is the only provider in Indiana with a Highly Infectious Disease transport team and ambulance.

Apart from emergency care, Indianapolis EMS also actively engages with the community through various outreach programs and educational opportunities.
