The Indiana Alliance of YMCAs is a collaborative effort among YMCA volunteers and partners in Indiana. Comprised of 42 corporate YMCAs from across the state, as well as branches in southern Indiana and South Bend, the Alliance aims to address the most pressing issues faced by Hoosiers. With YMCAs present in 90 diverse communities, they serve over 829,000 individuals, including both youth and adults.

The Alliance supports YMCAs through advocacy, professional development opportunities for staff and volunteers, shared program focuses to address social conditions, efficient resource allocation, and data collection to demonstrate impact and improve conditions. Their vision is to be a trusted collaborator, influencer, convener, and conduit for collective impact that strengthens Indiana. Guided by principles such as valuing autonomy, ongoing education, volunteer leadership, and collective strength, the Alliance works to enhance the relevancy and sustainability of Indiana YMCAs.
