About
Description
Indie MEGABOOTH (IMB) is a collective of indie game developers who came together with the goal of showcasing their games to fans and press at busy trade shows. The concept was simple: by pooling their resources and working collaboratively, they created a unified presence at the first ever MEGABOOTH showcase in 2012. Since then, the IMB community has grown significantly, now including nearly 1000 developers and 33 showcases from 36 countries.
The pandemic put the MEGABOOTH on hold, but it is now ready to re-emerge stronger than ever. The mission of IMB is to give exposure to thought-provoking, unique games and provide a safe, welcoming environment for small, diverse teams to enter the games industry. Alongside in-person events, IMB curates a strong network for developers and communities to support each other and connect with fans, publishers, and platform holders.
IMB's selection process is rigorous, with games going through a curation process involving a jury of developers, academics, and curators. The showcased titles are diverse, quirky, and genre-bending. Notable games that have exhibited with IMB in the past include Dead Cells, Don't Starve, Disco Elysium, What The Golf?, Spiritfarer, Celeste, The Stanley Parable, and Mini Metro, all of which became top-selling indie games.
If you're a fan of indie games, make sure to stay connected with IMB through their newsletter, Discord channel, and social media platforms. Get ready to discover some of the greatest games out there!
