Innisfree Village is a lifesharing community located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, just outside Charlottesville, Virginia. As a fully licensed, residential community, Innisfree Village provides a therapeutic farm environment for adults with intellectual disabilities. Founded in 1971, this nonsectarian nonprofit organization is spread over 550 acres and offers a unique model of living.

Residents and their volunteer caregivers live together in 15 houses, creating a close-knit community where deep relationships are formed based on mutual needs, respect, and love. Innisfree Village invites individuals to become volunteer caregivers, offering the opportunity to experience the joys of shared home and work environments for a minimum of one year. With various facilities including an art studio, bakery, farm, fitness center, and more, Innisfree Village allows residents to explore and develop their passions.
