Description
The Internet Commerce Association (ICA) is a non-profit trade organization founded in 2006. They advocate for the rights and interests of domain name owners and related service providers. Based in Washington D.
C., the ICA aims to improve public confidence in Internet commerce by promoting best practices in the domain name industry and educating consumers, policy makers, law makers, and the media about the value and benefits of direct navigation traffic and the domain name industry. The ICA brings together a diverse group of individuals and companies involved in owning, buying, selling, and developing domain names. They work to educate advertisers about the value and exceptional conversion rate of Internet traffic and direct search compared to paid sources.
The ICA also monitors and participates in the development of rules, laws, and regulations related to the Internet and the dispute resolution process established by ICANN. Membership in the ICA offers access to various resources, including email alerts, webinars, and updates, as well as the opportunity to vote in board elections, display ICA member website badges, and be listed in the ICA Member Directory. Membership levels range from Individual and Member to Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, with different recognition, benefits, and access available at higher levels
