The Bronx Urban Community Magnet School, also known as JHS 123, is a secondary school located in the Bronx, New York. We are proud to have been awarded the 2022 Secondary Magnet School of Merit Award of Excellence by the Magnet Schools of America. This recognition highlights our commitment to providing a high-quality education that focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM).

At our school, students engage in innovative and transformative learning experiences. Our curriculum is aligned with our Magnet theme, STEAM Engines: Innovators Driving Change, which allows students to explore and develop their problem-solving and critical thinking skills. In addition to our academic programs, we offer various services and opportunities for our students and their families.

This includes 6th-grade orientation sessions, where incoming students and their families can learn more about our school and the upcoming school year. We also have a Community Feedback Form for community members and small businesses to offer support and ask any questions they may have.
